Everyone once in a while you meet someone who just radiates joy and warmth. Jenna is one of those women. I met her when she was a bridesmaid for Liz’s wedding and I adored her from the moment she hugged me hello. Firstly because she smiles with her whole heart, and secondly because I saw how much she cherishes her friends (it’s remarkable how quickly she pulled me into her bubble of friendship!) When she contacted me about a year later to tell me she was engaged, there was not a doubt that I would do whatever I needed to do to be at her wedding! And thankfully, she felt the same way.
Jenna & Joshua’s Dallas Heritage Village wedding was a full of old-time charm and nostalgia. Throughout the day it was made abundantly clear that this is a couple that values tradition, faith, friendship, and heritage. From the self-made bouquets, to the glowing bride, to home-made lemonade and scones (mmmm,) to vintage handkerchiefs, to the deeply-touching vows under the eaves of the Millermore House, to laughter all day, to all the whimsy of the historical venue, it was pretty much a perfect wedding. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because it seems incredible to me that I get to photograph such lovely couples (mentally inserting a big ol hashtag BLESSED right here.)
Thank you, J&J. With all my love.
