Alex & Matt ~ Blue Springs State Park, Florida

When Alex and I talked about her engagement portrait session with Matt, she knew she wanted to pull in some activities that would speak to their personalities and reflect some of the things that they value as a couple.  We met at Blue Springs State Park where they canoed, strolled along the wooded walks, and relaxed by the water reading and laughing together.

After our portrait session, we stayed a few minutes and came up with a super amateur but oh-so-fun stop-motion video which I can’t figure out how to upload to my blog but you can still see here on Facebook.  They  waded into the cold springs fully clothed and it was brilliant!  So grateful for their quirky and willing hearts and for being up for anything I suggested.

When we finished up, they gifted me with hugs, homemade cookies, and a book of love poetry (they’re both talented poets.)  Do I  have the sweetest couples or what?!
