I blog about anything that means something to me - a little about the shenanigans of the crazy folk I call family, some of the current stuff I'm shooting, a bit about the thoughts that run through my head.

Just so you know, I have no willpower when it comes to milk-chocolate, can't resist bookstores (much to my pocketbook's dismay), and think being on a breezy beach with my toes buried in the sand while my family plays in the surf is just about the perfect day :)

There is something about being near the ocean that brings such peace to me. We took a day off from unpacking and spent it on the beach (again ) I don’t think I could ever get tired of burying my feet in the sand and breathing in the salty air.

lucky, lucky me. I had Steph and Josh and their little bit of sunshine, E. with me for a few hours. Some sticky taffy, live music, and a sunset made for an amazing family session on Treasure Island.
