avian art

(cardinal by A. Jones, aged 13)

I’ve finally gotten all the artwork ready to post online, and only 3 weeks late! Am I on top of things or what?
I’ve asked the lovely head librarian of our local library to judge the contest because I sure couldn’t do it myself. She’ll get back to us in the next week or so with her picks for winners. (I went ahead and split the group up into the younger artists and the older artists.)
Thanks to all of you that sent in a piece of artwork. We had such fun with this mini-unit. It was a nice break from the our usual science schedule and we’re so glad we had some friends join us.

Here’s what we came up with for the Bird Identifying.
0. Blue Jay
1. Northern Cardinal
2. Sparrow
3. Tufted Titmouse
4. Black-capped Chickadee
