windfarms & vineyards

Got to hang out in California with my friend, Nirav last month and shoot some film.

I guess it’s illegal to stop the car on the side of the road to take pictures so the wind turbine images below were taken with me hanging out the window with my camera as we drove by.  May have swallowed a bug or two, but sometimes, small discomforts have to be endured for the sake of getting the shot

:)
The vineyard shots were at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery.

The photographs above were shot on, 2007 expired, Kodak Ektachrome film which I have since discovered is known for its intense color saturation. I was given a big bag of mixed expired film and it’s been so much fun trying out the different kinds to see what they do. I think this film would work really well for travel and landscape photography, don’t you?

Mimi - PS I can’t decide which photo is my favorite…but I think it is the photo with the roses.
